Arthur D'mure

Arthur D’mure is an artist, poet, songwriter, producer & creative visionary. Born and Raised in New York City as George Christopher Adams, he has always had a passion for the arts with an initial interest in music and acting. His mother Dalphine says it all started when he was two years old, “he used to dance to anything that made noise even the sound of laundry in the washing machine.” Arthur first began dabbling in the creation of his works at an early age starting with poetry and short stories, he then slowly transitioned into songwriting after wanting to impress two of his uncles who were up-and-coming songwriters themselves in their own right.  This period of exploration in songwriting was followed by years spent modeling and acting before deciding to take a break from the latter. As he began to take his creative work more seriously, he decided to follow in the footsteps of one of his biggest influences (Prince) regarding owning and controlling his material, albeit not knowing entirely what that meant at first. At the age of 14, while still a freshman in high school he founded his first company Fuadub Records, Inc. under which he was developing several acts including himself as a rapper under another moniker. After much trial, error, experimentation, and revision in 2010, he began the process of founding his second company Artful Industries, LLC. Artful Industries, LLC is an independent digital record label/audio-visual creative production firm through which he releases his work, produces/co-writes and provides creative direction for other independent artists and projects.

Arthur D’mure’s previously released works include the singles “High Tea With The Queen,” “Escapism,” “Red Riddum” and the “Shh…It’s A Secret - EP". He is currently in the process of working on his debut full-length album “Know Thyself” as well as several other projects.
